Ways for Taking Care of Your Car: Part III
Apart from tires that are very important to inspect before running your car on the road, even short mile, wheel is one thing also important to pay attention on. Without wheels, tires are useless. So, both of them need to come together at all time in good condition so that your car can make good running. Do not forget to have a wheel aligning and wheel balance checking. You can check by yourself to know that your car tires are not align by checking each of the tire to look for it uneven patterns, or you can use a coin to put it in between each tire thread and see if there at the same length. If the thread is deeper than the other side that mean you need to have your car alignment. You also can know if your car wheels are not balance is when one section of the tire is heavier than the other or the car vibrates at a certain speed. If your car wheels are not aligned, it will wear your car tires easily and will give hard time in your driving with all of the vibration to steering wheel, in the seat and floorboard. So, it is better to hurry up send your car go to workshop to do a wheel balancing and do not forget to check the wheel lugs too. Make sure all the lock lugs are tight and not heavier than the other.
You also need to check all your car lights from the inside light, headlight, signal lights and brake lights to see either if function well or not. Do not forget to check the electric wires to see they are in good condition and have no any tear or crack. This is because if your car got faulty electrical wiring, it will cause your car got on fire. So it is best to prevent all this problem happens to your car. After that, check the windshield wiper to see if the blades have cracks and you need to replace a new one.
Check also the car filters either need to replace or not. You can check them in your car manual because there are so many car filters that are replaceable. If your living place or work place is in the dusty area, then you should replace them frequently. There are some of the filters that you need to check such as air filter. It is the filter that used to filter the air going into an engine. This filter you can change it by yourself but some you need send to the workshop for get the mechanic service. Next is the fuel filter that you can found in the engine compartment or near the gas tank for the car that using gas. Then, the cabin filter that located under your dash and it is for filter the car air conditioning system. It is function to clean the air before going into the passenger compartment.
