Outdoor Activities for Preschool Learning of Your Child – Part II
There are others good places to let preschoolers to go there for getting learning
Walk in the Forest (nature walk): Walk in the forest help children to observe nature. What they see, what they hear and what they smell. There are many natural pieces can provide fun for children since they use those associate with their ideas. Maple leaves, pine needles, pine cones, acorns, chest nuts, or any other things they collect can be used create an art project of some sort with the children and it is also exciting when kids going on science activity by using magnifying glasses in the classrooms to examine those things. Remember that you and your kids always stay on the trail unless you are familiar with different poisonous plants that could make things unpleasant or unsafe for you and the children.
Zoo: Zoo is great place to see many different kinds of animals as well as what keepers are and their job duties. They can learn about different animals that are native to their country and those from other countries while you are speaking with them about how to care for the animals.
Pet store: Most children and preschoolers love pets. A small tour and show off some of birds, cats and puppies can be occurred for the children at your local pet store. At this place, your child will learn about caring for animals and feeding them.
Library: This is perfect places that provide all kinds of books for reading and learning. During staying at library, you can tell them why libraries are important and what important tasks of librarians. Library also allows you to find some children book for your child to read and see colorful picture inside.
Safety Village: It is necessity for children to learn about safety. They need to know why it is important to be safe and various things related to laws and obeying rules include to the benefit from respecting these things.
Grocery Store/ Super Market: There are a lot of things and many kinds of foods provided in super market or grocery store. Preschoolers should to know what feature of broccoli, how many kinds of fish, or what is called mayonnaise.
Airport: Most children probably excited when they see a plane. At the airport, your kids can see small and big size of planes as well as can learn how planes fly and how they communicate.
Train Station: Children love train. It is so exciting to see the train coming in to the station with a whistle. They may be lucky to talk with train operators about their duties.
Go to a Children’s Venue (Play or author): It is a good chance to let your child to see a child’s play or see a popular children’s author when they come to town to read a story or sing music.
Retirement Home: Children should to learn to respect the elderly and infirm. They can talk and socialize with the residents who live in senior home and this will make those people get smiling again after long time they can not see their own posterity.
It is important to let your child to see anything at outside to get learning instead of let them only reading at home as experience everything by themselves will provide them much more knowledge than just watching from DVD or reading from books.
