Be Leader to Keep Your Horse Away from Badly Behavior

Again and again that we hear about the badly behavior of the horse that cause people injured. A horse chases someone around a pasture, it kicks, bites, and won’t canter. There are some causes that make horse exhibits bad behavior and one is because the owner of the horse has not truly established himself as the leader for the horse. It important to know how your horse thinks for everything includes you whom are their leader. So, the owner like you should to take a step back and learn how horses think to prevent the badly behavior may occur in your horse. Then apply new knowledge to stallion of the herd rather than letting the horses fill that role. By the way, you will become to your horse’s leader.

 

 

Do not feed your horse while working hours

On the time of your working with your horse, do not give him any food. Giving treat to a prey animal does not reinforce good behavior that you think. In contrast, the horse will think you as a cookie factory. Then, your horse always wants to take advantage from you. Ignore any feeding during the hours of training your horse. Only give him a treat after you have been working with him.

 

 

Do not use treats to catch your horse

When you want to grab your horse and go ride, establishing the bounds of your relationship with your horse is powerful. Using body language to catch your horse is better. Your horse will sizing up your body posture then he can understand what you want from him. Wagging carrots at your horse hoping he will come over can not useful.

 

 

Find the way to let your horse know you are leader

When you are leading him, where is your horse? If you found that the horse in front of you or creeping up on you, it show that you are not being on leading properly. Your horse is going to where he wants and not really minding you. It is an urgent time to find the way to control your horse and let him know you are leader who he must to follow. Just only go through some simple leading exercises, you will find that the relationship between you and your horse was improves drastically.

 

 

Do backup exercises

You can communicate with our horses just by moving them around. Using backing up as a regular part of your groundwork routine is a great way to do this. When your horse is being on badly behavior, backup exercises are an excellent way to get a horses attention.

 

 

Let the horse give an attention to you

When your horse is not focusing two eyes on you, it means he is not paying full attention to you. He may look off with the other eye for threats or something interested him more than you. You need to keep twos eyes of your horse on you at all time when you work with him to become a leader of your horse.
