Safety for Your Hunting
Having safety hunting is the most important thing the hunter must to keep in mind. To be safety when you are in the time of hunting is not means just only pointing that weapon in a safe direction. On the other hand, there are several things you need to do for safer hunting that allow you have more enjoyable too.
- Hang a blaze orange flag under your tree stand at the eyes level. Ask one to the top if you have hunting from the ground blind. The camp patterns on the newer ground blinds are so good because they make you disappear. The flag under your tree stand will let the others know your position and deer can not see blaze orange better than any other color. Try to dress like a Christmas tree when you are on the game of hunting is also good.
- Always use more than one rope to get your gear depending on your stand. At least three ropes is o.k. for hanging all equipments with easy open clasps on the end. To be fumbling with knots in the dark is not safe. Sometime it is very busy to try to un-tie the knot to securely set your pack down. When you can un-tie the knot and the weapon are ready, a big deer may be away.
- Before hooking anything to any rope, give them all a few good tugs.
