Child Assessment
In early childhood education, teachers of young children must the find ways to show that children are growing, developing, and learning. As well as teacher, parents also want to see proof of growth and development of their lovely child. This is why it is important that we need to have effective child assessment to make sure that our children are growing in regular basis as they should be during their old ages and appropriate assessment methods can provide that proof. Assessment is defined as “taking stock of a situation”. However, the child proof can not be approached if the teachers do not know how to do it and how it is important for those young children. Therefore, it is important that teachers of young children know well the need for assessment in the classroom setting, evaluate children and take stock of their growth and development.
