Leaf vegetables are the leaves of edible plants consumed as vegetables. Most of the leaf vegetables are fresh green vegetables and can eat raw or cooked. Kinds of leaf vegetables are spinach, Chinese cabbage, cabbage, chicory, cress and etc. These leaf vegetables are rich nutrient density such as protein, fibers, minerals like calcium and iron to our body. It also supplies the vitamin C, K, folic acid and low fat. It is good for a person who is on a weight loss regime as an ideal diet.
