Select Equipment for Your First Camping: Part I
“Where does we plan for recreation on this holiday”, dad? When this question came out from your children mouth, have you think of some good ideas that can make your children spend their holiday with memorable? It is always great to take your kids for camping, especially if you never have done it. Camping is one of the cheapest fun holiday options. Go camping at the Natural Park or beautiful countryside that far away from busy city is a good idea. Beyond camping in those areas let you and your children can get into natural, you can take the opportunity from this time to teach your children to protect the natural and survival in the natural. Also, you can have a good rest and relief stress with forget all the stressful job and problem.
Before you bring your family go to camping for the first time, you need to prepare some camping equipments for them. To warranty your family will not have any problems when go to camping; you need to select the suitable camping equipments for their comfortable. The common camping equipments that you need to prepare for the first time camping are tents, sleeping bag and food. You can search some information about this camping equipment from internet, recreation magazines or ask the expert one whether the camping equipment shop owner or your colleagues that always go to camping to get some opinions from them for you to make a good selection on camping equipment.
The common camping equipments like tents are very important because it is for you and your family to stay at night. So you need to choose the suitable tents for your family comfortable. Camping tents are rated by the number of people they can accommodate. Count how many people will you bring for the camping and prepare tents based on the participants. Tents come in variety of shapes and sizes. You can consider to going with 1 bigger size tents for all your family members or you can better divide the ‘person rating’ by 2 so you will have a decent amount of space if you have to stay inside due to nasty weather. I think you do not want to stick in a small tent with 4 or 5 peoples.
Consider the length and width of the camping tents to allow you have an enough place for movement in your sleep and add more space for other equipment used for camping. Beside that, you also need to consider the camping size to make sure you have enough space for an inflatable air mattress. It is not necessary for you to bring together for camping, but it much more comfortable than lying on a cold pad. Without it, the cold will go right through to make you cold and stiff. The camping tents need to stand up and last longer to heavy rain and fierce wind. It also needs to have no-see-um mesh to keeps out tiny biting flies get in the tents to disturb your sleep. Do not be afraid or stingy to spend money on a good quality branded camping tents. Getting a cheap discount brand that is going to leak and/ or collapse on you in wind-blown rain will only make you miserable. Camping tents should keep you and your family dry, comfortable and protected.
