The Right Way to Insert a Tampon

As we are women, there are a lot of things to pay attention on. And as it is impossible to keep ourselves far away from menstrual until it end up naturally with our old age, it is great to learn how to how to insert a tampon when it is your option during period of menstrual. However, before learning the right method to insert a tampon, it is important to know option of tampon available on the market and which one to choose from.

 

Although tampons will be used internally the body, a scented variety can also provide for extra odor protection. But, in order to lessen the chance of irritation, non-scented tampons are ideal. Tampons usually vary in terms of absorbency levels from light to super plus regardless of brands. Tampons are usually found in the same shelf along with other feminine hygiene products.   1. If you are right-handed, hold the tampon applicator in your right hand and left if you are left-handed.
  2. Hold the bottom of the larger, outer tube by your thumb and middle finger.
  3. Now point the tip of the applicator toward your vagina. For giving the smaller tube point away from you, face it lightly towards the back.
  4. Use your free hand to open your vagina and then place the tip of the applicator at the opening of your vagina.
  5. Apply pressure gently on the smaller end of the applicator in until it is completely inside the larger outer tube. Then, push the tampon into your vagina.
  6. While your thumb and middle finger still on the outer tube, release the smaller tube and allow the strings dangle freely.
  7. Pull the two tubes out together gently.
  8. When you want to remove the tampon after used, pull the dangled strings.

 

Whenever there is properly inserted tampon, it should not be any discomfort.
